Pumpkin Feast and Animal Symbols

Prague Zoo has prepared an interesting programme for the upcoming weekend. On Sunday, there will be a pumpkin feast with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. On Monday, visitors will be acquainted with animals and their symbolism in state emblems and crests.

Elephants and meerkats
The objective of the feast is to make animals' diets more varied and give them the opportunity to play. It starts on Sunday 27th October at 10.30 in The Elephant Valley and finishes at 3.30 p.m. with an unusual feast at meerkats at The African House.
Pumpkins for visitors
In the Gulab Restaurant in the upper part of the zoo, visitors will have the opportunity to taste pumpkin specialities. There will also be Kateřina Mirská's carving show, demonstrating various decorative pumpkin carving techniques.
