Secrets of the Gobi NEWS!
The iconic Przewalski’s horses have found their home in this new exhibition complex. Prague Zoo has been returning them to the wild for many years now. No less interesting are the desert-living Pallas’s cats, or manual, and the other Mongolian fauna. There is also the inspiration for the mythical Mongolian death worm – the Tartar sand boa. Travel with us to the distant Orient and discover all its secrets!
Baby gorillas at the Dja Reserve NEWS!
It’s a lively time with Prague Zoo’s gorilla family! Right now you can watch two newborns and the entire troop in the Dja Reserve. Not only will you learn how this critically endangered primate is bred, but also everything there is to know about the complex social functioning in the gorilla troop. See at first hand the different approaches taken by the mother-of-five and the new mum!
